Gay-oriented cable network Logo has acquired syndication rights for FX's medical drama Nip/Tuck.

The series, which ran for seven seasons, will air in three-episode stacks each week starting this October.

Logo's senior vice president of multiplatform programming Marc Leonard explains the network's choice to air the drama:

"The celebrity guests, moments of jaw-dropping outrageousness and honest depiction of its gay characters and their friends made the series a perfect fit for our audience. At the end of the day, we see it as a love story between two straight guys who are challenged by the family that they've created — and that's pretty fierce."

Fierce, indeed!

Matthew Wilder, the young director who was foolish enough to cast the trainwreck that is Lindsanity LOLhan in his yet-to-be-made film Inferno as the lead - pornstar Linda Lovelace - is not only still standing behind the hard-pAArtying wacktress, but has somehow managed to convince the film's financiers to hold off on production until she is released from jail!

STOOPID.

He reveals:

“We still have financial backing in place – in fact the financiers have doubled their efforts to get the movie made since Lindsay was sentenced. I want people to know that we are all still behind Lindsay 100 percent and that we have not approached anyone else to play the part of Linda Lovelace. We are waiting to see how her schedule pans out. If she’s released too close to Christmas then we may wait until 2011 until we start filming- but we will just have to wait and see. I think the sentence was harsh and to some extent she was a victim of her own celebrity but we all still want her for Inferno.”

Really brilliant of them. Stand behind the notoriously unreliable cracked out jailbird who hasn't had a hit movie in four years!

We understand that she's probably the most 'authentic' looking person to play a drug-addicted slam pig, but heads up, people - make-up can do wonders!

Time to cast someone else!

Will Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett, have been approached to play the leads in the revival of A Streetcar Named Desire!

Apparently, however, no deal has been set, and the couple are still in discussions regarding the project, so it will certainly be inneresting to see what develops from this!

It HAS been confirmed, however, that Patti LaBelle has signed on for Fela! in the role of the mother!

Amazing! Now that's something we want to see!

Get tickets soon, though, because she'll only be doing it for the month of September!
