Bryan Scary was born in the wrong decade.
His glam rock meets popera tunes are very Bowie meets Beatles (circa their experimental phase).
Scary is obviously a huge music buff and you can hear all his influences on his stellar debut, The Shredding Tears.
Incredibly talented, Bryan played ALL the instruments on the album, except for the drums.
We think he’s going to do very well in Europe, where they play more interesting music on the radio and they’re open to people that are outside the box – which we love.
It’ll be interesting to see if Scary can break in America, but we hope he does. We’re totally digging his tunes!
One of our favorite tracks is the grand Desdemona’s Leaving, a rocking yet hyper romantical tune with ohhhs and ahhhhhs.
