Paris Hilton placed a collect call to Barbara Walters from jail yesterday and The View matriarch will discuss her conversation with the jailed heiress on today’s show!
Babs is an old friend of Kathy Hilton and is rumored to be angling for the first post-prison interview with mother and daughter.
Seems like that is more likely to happen now.
Hilton reveals to Walters that her experience in jail has truly changed her.
“I used to act dumb,” Paris told Barbara. “That act is no longer cute. Now, I would like to make a difference. God has given me this new chance.”
The jailhouse call came came about because Kathy was on the phone with Walters when Paris rang in on another line. When told Kathy was talking to Barbara, Paris said she’d like to speak to The View host herself.
“I was not eating or sleeping,” Hilton said of her first few days in prison. “I was severely depressed and felt as if I was in a cage. It was a horrible experience.”
